Continuity!

We are trying to edit our footage and it looks good so far with the running sequence at the beginning but when the dialogue starts the continuity is really bad and it jumps because we had to shoot the dialogue scenes so many different times. There is only like two to chose from aswell because we kept on laughing or there was people around in the park and we didnt want to act it in front of people because we were using guns.

  1. As I said, you basically need to film the dialogue scene in full from a number of different angles, trying to make sure the continuity is accurate:

LONG SHOT (as you have done).
CUs on both of your characters
2 SHOT (closer to both characters than your original
EXTREME LONG SHOTS to get a sense of the geography of the scenes
Some EXTREME CLOSE-UPS (e.g. the gun, eyes etc.)

During the chase, some POV shots and some closer shots as well as the ones you mentioned of feet.
