-Decide on the genre of your film - Action/Comedy/Spy
-Brainstorm ideas for at least 5-10 films from your genre (use the web to find ideas if you can’t think of any). If working in a group, you should look at 5-10 films each (although these could be the same films)
-The Bourne Identity (we will use the action and mystery aspects of this film)
-Johnny English (we chose this film because it's an action but it's funny)
-Die Hard (action)
-Red (action)
-Bounty Hunter (comedy/action)
-Hancock (comedy/action)
-Hot Fuzz (comedy)
-Mr and Mrs Smith (action/interesting storyline)
-Knight and Day (action/comedy)
-Dark Knight (action)
-Indiana Jones (adventure/action)
-James Bond Casino Royale. (action/spy)
All good. Next step is to decide when you are going to look at these sequences - aim for a couple per day - and remember, you need to be looking at the opening titles and first scene. You can use the same formula for each blog entry. It would be good to use screengrabs, if you can..
